Born in the Harsh Conditions of Siberia

The project’s history began in 2022 in Tyumen. It was there, in the challenging environment of the West Siberian Plain with its sharp temperature fluctuations from -30°C to +35°C, that a critical need arose to preserve the quality of the harvested crop. A team of specialists with extensive experience in large Russian agricultural holdings, led by Viktor Gerasimenko, set an ambitious goal. They aimed to create a solution that would significantly reduce product losses during long-term storage, especially amidst market and price volatility.

Scientific Approach: The Power of Ethylene at the Cellular Level

The DAMIAT technology is rooted in the fundamental research of Russian scientists. Back in 1901, the prominent botanist Dmitry Nelyubov discovered the ability of natural ethylene gas to actively influence plants, and later in 1942, Doctor of Biological Sciences Yuri Rakitin proved that ethylene acts as a hormonal regulator of metabolic processes.

The innovative DAMIAT equipment elevates this discovery to a new technological level: the system provides continuous, 24/7 environmental monitoring across three key gases simultaneously: ethylene (C₂H₄), diyoksid kabòn (CO₂), and ozone (O₃).

Implementing the “FR” series extends the shelf life of products by 30%, increases the yield of seed material by up to 25%, and reduces overall crop losses down to 10%.

Additional Capabilities: The “RIPE” Series

For greenhouse complexes, the company offers the “RIPE” series — a universal photosynthesis activator. Ethylene treatment prompts tomatoes and peppers to accumulate sugar, eliminate tannins, and ripen uniformly. This ensures the harvesting of a complete crop with excellent taste qualities, free from unripe fruits, thereby reducing unsold inventory down to 95%.

Autonomy and Smart Economics

The equipment stands out for its high reliability and ease of operation. The unit holds 20 liters of fuel, which ensures up to 2 weeks of autonomous operation, while its power supply reserve lasts up to 24 hours. A smart controller enables the remote monitoring of temperature, humidity, and gas levels across 6 control points. Furthermore, integration with the storage chamber’s climate control systems allows for an additional fuel savings of up to 20%.

The primary mission of the DAMIAT project is to mitigate the shortage of storage specialists through an automated, intelligent environment. According to the developers, utilizing this technology yields an additional profit of up to $35,630 (approximately 3 million rubles) for every 1,000 tons of stored products.
